SUMMARY:20th World Congress PAG 2023
DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the Serbian Society of PAG and local organising committee\, it is our great pleasure to invite you to join us in wonderful Belgrade\, from 18 to 21 May 2023 for the 20th World Congress of Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology. This meeting is organized under umbrella of our Federation International – FIGIJ which celebrate the 52nd Anniversary. \nWhat a time to visit this lovely White city. The days are long\, the sun is warm(ish) and the science is hot. The meeting will see a return to the hotel with a view to Kalemegdan fortress\, the location of the last great world meeting in Belgrade 1978. It is a great place of our congress: spacious and light and just minutes from both the airport and the city centre. \nFor those of you new to Belgrade\, you will find a beautiful city: open\, green\, small enough to walk around\, sited on the two rivers and with a colourful and pretty city centre unblemished by skyscrapers. It doesn’t take long to understand why Belgrade is home to the ‘hospitality people’. Is it the many friendly bars? The way in which striking modern Danish designed buildings plays alongside the many waterways? Or could it be\, the oldest park located near to Milošev konak? Or is the new Belgrade waterfront in the middle of the city? Whatever it is\, aside from the famous sights and the smiles\, you will enjoy a city with some of the best restaurants in the world\, as well as many bistros\, bars in which almost everyone speaks fluent English. \nAltogether a worthy location for the equally wonderful FIGIJ meeting. With cutting edge science\, inspirational speakers\, and unrivalled networking opportunities\, you really need to be a part of it. \nWe look forward to welcoming you! \nhttps://www.wcpag2023.org

SUMMARY:XXIV FIGO World Congress of Gynecology and Obstetrics
DESCRIPTION:The XXIV FIGO World Congress of Gynecology and Obstetrics will be held at the Paris Convention Centre in Paris\, France\, on 9–12 October 2023. The 2023 FIGO World Congress will be hosted by FIGO and the Collège National des Gynécologues et Obstétriciens Français (CNGOF).\n\n\nFor almost 70 years\, FIGO’s World Congresses have brought together obstetricians\, gynaecologists\, midwives\, nurses\, allied physicians and other health professionals in the field of women’s health and policy from countries around the world. Representing a broad and diverse range of fields\, these international health professionals will meet in France in 2023 alongside key decision makers\, NGOs\, patients and health and rights advocates. \nSession and abstract submissions are open\nTo submit your abstract\, film or session proposal\, and to view the full guidelines for submission\, please visit the submissions website. The deadline to submit is 21 November 2022 (23:59 UTC). \nRegistrations open January 2023\nThe destination selection process for FIGO 2023 saw engaging bids from across Europe from learned obstetric and gynaecologic societies\, all of which offered superb venues and access to preeminent scholars. Paris stood out for its strong interest in the diversity of potential attendees\, covering trainees\, midwives and the broad scope of obstetrics and gynaecology\, as well as the opportunity for FIGO to collaborate with a Francophone host society on a World Congress for the first time in 27 years. \nOn hosting the event in Paris\, Professor Jöelle Belaisch-Allart\, CNGOF President\, said\, \n“The XXIV FIGO World Congress in Paris will be a great opportunity to bring together diverse professionals in women’s health care from across the globe. Impactful projects in all areas of women’s health will surely grow from this cross-pollination and the voice of FIGO will echo louder and clearer as a beacon for women’s health and wellbeing globally.” \nOn behalf of FIGO\, Dr Jeanne Conry\, President Elect at FIGO\, said\, \n“FIGO looks forward to this celebration of women’s health in the City of Lights! We will have an incredible scientific programme to attract scholars to our Congress. And with the engagement and dedication of the CNGOF – coupled with the attraction of a city like Paris – we will come together with colleagues\, families and friends to participate in and enjoy this important World Congress.” \nFIGO is excited to be visiting Paris in 2023 for what will be the first ever hybrid FIGO World Congress. FIGO and CNGOF will bring together delegates from across Europe and beyond – virtually and in-person – for a fabulous World Congress that will showcase science\, collegiality\, collaboration and the beauty of France. \nRegistration will open in January 2023.\nMore information about the venue\, programme and sponsorship opportunities will be released across 2022 and 2023.
