Dr Khaleque Khan is Searching for collaborators for Endometriosis Awareness Project.

“It is my great pleasure to write you from Japan. I want to discuss with you on the following issue. Recently we established a multinational and multi-center collaborative study on endometriosis awareness promotion project (EAPP) based on questionnaire survey. We already completed EAPP study (Part I and Part II) with medical and nursing students. Part I study is already published and Part II study is now submitted for publication. We are now planning to extend our EAPP study with school and college students as the study population and 13 Asian countries have already agreed to join in our extended school/college-based EAPP study.

The aim of this study is two folds:
1. To evaluate fundamental knowledge and effect of education on improving basic concept on menstrual pain and endometriosis in order to early consult with gynecologist and to take early medical intervention
2. To identify high-risk individuals who are susceptible to develop endometriosis for early diagnosis and timely management of endometriosis. I would appreciate your kind consideration and support in our mutual collaboration. If you do agree to join our study, I will discuss with you further on study plan.
