The first edition of FIGIJ Bursary Program was held during the XX World Congress of Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology of Belgrade, May 18th – 21st.

Two Bursaries were allocated for the 2023 round:
Dr. Susan Adongo, from Kenya, was awarded with the Enrico Tridenti Bursary
Dr. Zhao Jinghui, from China, was awarded with the Covid Resilience Bursary.

By the will of FIGIJ Board, FIGIJ Bursary Program continues and new bursaries will be offered in 2024, awarded in accordance with fund raising.

Applications will be accepted from June 1st, 2023, to December 31st, 2023 and must be sent to the coordinator of FIGIJ Bursary Committee, Dr. Gabriele Tridenti ([email protected]).

Alleged titles will be evaluated by FIGIJ Bursary Committee and the winners will be announced by March 31st, 2024.

Donations, either from scientific societies or companies or private people are always accepted and must be addressed to FIGIJ Treasurer, Prof. Judith Simms-Cendan ([email protected]), specifying “in favor of FIGIJ Bursary Program”.
