Dear colleagues and friends,

As we approach the end of this year, I wish you a joyful holiday season and a healthy, peaceful New Year. It is a privilege to be part of our global FIGIJ family, and I am genuinely grateful for the passion and dedication each of you brings to improving the lives of children and adolescents worldwide.

Our work in adolescent and paediatric gynaecology continues to grow in significance. Every day, in clinics, classrooms, and communities, you help strengthen the rights, health, and future of young people. Thank you for your commitment, empathy, and vision.

I am especially looking forward to seeing many of you in San Francisco this April for the WCPAG. It will be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, exchange ideas, and continue shaping the future of our field together.

For me, this meeting will be particularly meaningful, as it marks the end of my term as President of FIGIJ. Serving in this role has been an honour, and I am deeply thankful for the trust, collaboration, and friendship I have received from all of you. I leave the position confident in the strength of our federation and inspired by the leaders who will carry this work forward.

Wishing you and your loved ones a festive season filled with warmth, rest, and hope—and a New Year full of health, new opportunities, and ongoing progress for adolescents everywhere.

With my warmest regards,

Marisa Labovsky
