Dear Colleagues and Friends,
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone whose participation made the 2026 World Congress of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (WCPAG) such a meaningful and memorable gathering. To those who were unable to join us this year, you were greatly missed, and we hope to welcome you at future meetings of our global PAG community.
The 2026 World Congress marked a historic milestone as the Congress returned to the United States for the first time since 1986—the very meeting that inspired the founding of NASPAG. Hosting WCPAG once again in the U.S. carried special significance, honoring both the history of the field and the remarkable progress achieved over the past four decades. We were especially honored to welcome new FIGIJ Member Societies from Bolivia and Ecuador, further strengthening our international community and highlighting the continued growth, collaboration, and future possibilities for pediatric and adolescent gynecology worldwide.
As one of the Federation’s member societies, NASPAG played a vital role in delivering an outstanding Congress that reflected the collaborative spirit and international reach of our specialty. This year’s meeting brought together an extraordinary community of clinicians, researchers, educators, and advocates from around the world. The energy throughout the Congress was a powerful reminder of the strength of our international partnerships and our shared commitment to advancing the reproductive health and well-being of children and adolescents globally.
Guided by principles of inclusivity, innovation, and international collaboration, WCPAG 2026 showcased the very best of our field. The remarkable attendance and engagement throughout the Congress demonstrate the continued growth of pediatric and adolescent gynecology worldwide and the dedication of professionals committed to shaping its future.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the many leaders, faculty members, organizers, volunteers, and contributors whose efforts made this Congress possible.
We were also delighted to welcome Yasmin Jayasinghe as the Federation’s new President, along with the newly elected FIGIJ Board of Directors announced during the General Assembly, marking an exciting new chapter for the Federation and its global PAG community.
Looking ahead, we remain inspired by the momentum created through this Congress and by the growing connections among PAG professionals worldwide. Together, we celebrated not only a historic event, but also the continued expansion, collaboration, and global impact of our field.
We now look forward with great enthusiasm to future international gatherings and to our 2029 World Congress in Manila, Philippines! More details to come.
With gratitude and warm regards,
Marisa Labovsky MD (FIGIJ Immediate Past President)
Nichole Tyson MD (NASPAG President)
Kate McCracken MD (NASPAG ACRM Co-Chair)
