This document has been designed to aid clinicians to ensure the best outcome during a pediatric and adolescent gynaecological history and examination, covering as many angles as possible to maximise the benefits of the  consultation and minimise any distress for the child or the adolescent.

The format is designed for easier absorption and understanding, explaining the rationale and  providing brief vignettes by way of illustrations.

General principles are followed by separate sections addressing the challenges of the pediatric and adolescent history and examination in both younger children and adolescents. February 2025
