The RCOG hosted the Board of the European Association of Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology over the weekend of 26-28 October 2018.
The Board under the Presidency of FIGIJ’s General Secretary Paul Wood were meeting in London in order to create a Pan-European Curriculum for Subspecialty Training in Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology.
After a significant amount of preparatory work and two long sessions (and with the help of the College meeting room facilities and accommodation) a draft of the document has been successfully completed.
This will be shared with the European Board and College at their next Council meeting in Brussels.
Despite Brexit, European professional contacts between the UK and Europe in Obstetrics and Gynaecology remain strong and will hopefully continue for many years to come!
