Dear Fellow Members of FIGIJ

The subject of a replacement logo for our Federation has been discussed for some time.  Having finally updated our Statutes, we have since endeavoured to create a new image for FIGIJ.  I can advise you that your Board has now chosen a new logo to represent us in the 21st century and beyond.

I have great pleasure in introducing this to you.  We sincerely hope you will approve!

The new logo embraces the global nature of the organisation while spelling out our name in both English and French, so it is clearer as to who we represent.

We have retained the purple and blue of the original logo as well as the circular concept but have included a blossoming flower symbolising puberty, growth and development.

This more abstract and universal approach with its sleeker message hopefully represents a more contemporary feel for the organisation, embracing the young people we represent.

Please share this with your colleagues and look for the new logo on the website and all future communications.

With my very best wishes

Paul Wood
President FIGIJ
